Content and takedown

Refilmer makes videos and images with digital characters. This page sums up what may be made with it and how rights holders and depicted persons get content removed. For customers the terms of service are binding, in particular clause 5.

1. Adults only, consent only

Every person in a character, a reference photo or a reference clip must be at least 18 years old. Clips and photos in which people appear to be minors are not processed.
Characters modelled on real persons are allowed only with their explicit consent. Erotic content is allowed only for characters we have enabled one by one after checking the documents; each enabling is recorded with its date and proof.
Whoever uses reference clips must hold the rights to them or the rights holders' permission.

2. What is not allowed

content that shows or sexualises minors, or persons who appear to be minors;
content with real persons without their consent, public figures included;
sexual violence or lack of consent, hate, harassment, defamation;
deception that makes a real person appear to say or do something;
infringement of copyright, trademarks or personality rights.

On violations we block the content, characters or workspaces concerned. Content that sexualises minors is reported to the authorities.

3. Report content and have it removed

You see yourself without consent, your work without permission, or another violation? Write to [email protected] with:

where the content is (link, account, date) or a description that lets us find it;
which right is infringed (your likeness, copyright, trademark) and how it is yours;
your contact details and, if you act for someone else, the authorisation;
a statement that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

We usually confirm receipt within two working days, block clearly unlawful content without delay and inform the customer concerned. Whoever breaks these rules repeatedly loses access.
